It's a wrap in Fredonia!

I have had such a blast the past couple of days. I will never forget the memories made throughout this experience. The people from maurices and Armour Photography are amazing and I am so happy that I got to meet each and every one of them! They will always be the ones that I can look back on and think how kind and awesome they were! They sure are a crazy and fun group, which makes them so unique!

Jan and Sarah did a wonderful job dolling me up into some really cute clothes. I can’t wait until they are out in the stores. I couldn’t believe how fast Angelia could fix up my hair and makeup! It was all so stunning and she was awesome!

I felt so great in the clothing I wore. It was so much fun to dress up into eleven different outfits! I started to get really comfortable after the first few photos…simply because the entire crew just made me comfortable and relaxed! It was like talking to your friends. And who would have thought I would take a photo shoot in a haunted lighthouse. It definitely spooked a lot of us! My favorite shots were located on the spiral staircase in the lighthouse and I can’t wait to see them all.

The day turned out to be beautiful in the evening. It turned out a lot better than what I thought it would be, since it rained and thundered a bit in the morning. I also presented the checks to the charities at my local Maurices store. I got a little teary eyed when Josie, the director for Circle of Love said a few words. It felt really good when I handed her over the check. I am glad to help her in so many different ways.

Overall, my experience has just been incredible and I will miss all the great people I met on the way. It will never ever be forgotten!

The Check Presentation

Today was another great day! In between photoshoots, I presented checks to two local nonprofits. It was part of my prize package from maurices--choosing local groups to receive $7,500. I chose two amazing organizations.

Chautauqua County Rural Ministry is an organization that provides the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter to the less fortunate and those in crisis situations. They received a check for $4,500. Circle of Love, a group that provides wigs and other help for cancer patients going through treatment, wreceived a check for $3,000.

Thanks, maurices, for supporting these two amazing groups.
